We have some exciting news to share with you today, guys. Do you recall how much you adored ‘Beforeigners’ in its first season? You’ll undoubtedly be interested in learning more about the next season.
The Norwegian TV show Beforeigners was released on August 21, 2019. HBO Europe has developed its first Norwegian-language series.
The series is set in Oslo, wherein Bjrvika Bay, brilliant flashes of light arise. People from several eras appear in the present, including the Stone Age, the Viking Age, and the nineteenth century. A police officer, Lars Haaland, meets newcomers who speak Old Norse.
The so-called “Beforeigners” are still striving to assimilate into modern Norwegian culture after a few years. The majority of old Norse people are homeless and sleep in parks, although others in the nineteenth century found work as journalists, office workers, and instructors. The first season of the show consists of six episodes.
So, first and foremost, let’s talk about something that will be of interest to Beforeigners viewers. In September 2020, HBO announced that the show had been renewed for a second season. What do you think? Although the series was previously renewed, there have been multiple updates since then.
Official Release Date for Beforeigners Season 2
Long ago, the show was renewed for another season. Viewers have been hoping for a release date since then. However, a precise release date was recently confirmed. We do know when the new season will be available. New episodes of HBO Max will begin streaming on December 5th, 2021. That isn’t even a month, guys. As a result, the show will release sooner rather than later.
Isn’t that some type of good news? Season 2 began filming in October 2020, thanks to a film and television incentive plan that provided NOK 22 million in funding. Production was delayed due to COVID-19 constraints and Oslo shutdowns. The wait was really worth it.
The official trailer for the new season has been released, along with a brief synopsis. We have a lot of exciting news to share with you today, as I previously indicated.
All of us are caught up in the past! A grisly murder in Oslo with ties to the 19th century raises the possibility that Jack the Ripper has time-traveled to the present. Lars and Alfhildr quickly realize that the only way to catch this killer is for them to trust each other.
That’s not it, though. HBO Max just published another official trailer a few hours ago. This trailer is also worth watching.
The first season centered on an unsolved prior crime, while the second season focuses on the legendary serial killer Jack the Ripper.
The second season has a lot in store for its audience. And it’s coming out sooner than we anticipated. Are you looking forward to it? Please let us know your thoughts on the next season.
